Security Forces gunned down six dreaded Pakistani militants belonging to Lashkar-e-Toiba outfit in Tariyat area of district Rajouri in Jammu and Kashmir, today. Acting on a tip off about the presence of some militants in Saroti forests of the area, the troops of army assisted by police had launched a massive search and combing operation in the area.<br/><br/>As soon as the contact between the troops and the ultras established, latter started indiscriminate firing on the troops. The troops retaliated the attack and in two hour long heavy exchange of gunfire, the security forces ultimately succeeded in killing all the six militants. <br/><br/>Besides 6 AK-47 rifles, a huge quantity of arms and ammunition has been recovered from the site of the encounter. It is worth mentioning here that Security Forces have already gunned down 7 militants of the same terrorist group on Wednesday and Saturday in Dharamsal and Kotranka areas of this border district. The encounter has ended but a massive search operation has been launched in the area that falls between Reasi and Rajouri district.<br/>
