Security Forces gunned down six dreaded Pakistani militants belonging to Lashkar-e-Toiba outfit in Tariyat area of district Rajouri in Jammu and Kashmir, today. <br/><br/>Acting on a tip off about the presence of some militants in Saroti forests of the area, the troops of army assisted by police had launched a massive search and combing operation in the area.<br/><br/>As soon as the contact between the troops and the ultras established, latter started indiscriminate firing on the troops. <br/><br/>The troops retaliated the attack and in two hour long heavy exchange of gunfire, the security forces ultimately succeeded in killing all the six militants. Besides 6 AK-47 rifles, a huge quantity of arms and ammunition has been recovered from the site of the encounter. <br/><br/>It is worth mentioning here that Security Forces have already gunned down 7 militants of the same terrorist group on Wednesday and Saturday in Dharamsal and Kotranka areas of this border district. The encounter has ended but a massive search operation has been launched in the area that falls between Reasi and Rajouri district.
