In Pakistan, the death toll in the suicide blast in the northwest Bannu area in the morning has risen to six. Atleast 17 others were injured today when a Taliban suicide bomber targeted a police vehicle in the restive northwest Pakistan's Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province. Media reports said the bomb exploded in a busy commercial area near a police station in a main city in Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa province.Official said the bomber, who was on foot, targeted the vehicle near the main police station of Bannu in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province. Pakistani Taliban has claimed responsibility for the incident.
