The authorities in Togo said that at least six leading Football players have been killed after a bus carrying them plunged into a ravine and caught fire. The accident happened yesterday, 160 kilometres north of the capital Lome, as the Etoile Filante team was travelling for a League game today. Reports say, a number of people were also seriously injured in the incident. Images broadcast on Togolese national television showed the smouldering wreckage of the bus, almost completely burnt to ashes.
