Six die as typhoon hits Japan

Six people have been killed in a powerful typhoon that hit Tokyo with strong winds and heavy rain and is now threatening parts of Japan devastated by the eathquake and tsunami in March. Chief Cabinet Secretary Osamu Fujimura has cautioned everyone to be on their guard. Workers at the crippled Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant have been battling to prevent further leaks of radio-active water as the storm drives towards the coast north of Tokyo.
