In Punjab, the death toll in the a building collapse of a blanket manufacturing factory in Jalandhar has risen to six.The death toll is expected to rise as the exact number of trapped persons is still not known. Out of the total of 60 labourers rescued since Sunday night, many have been discharged and rest of them are getting treatment in various hospitals. AIR Jalandhar Correspondent Quoting official sources reports that the Chief Minister, Mr. Prakash Singh Badal has ordered a high level probe into the incident.Meanwhile, the owner of the factory, Sheetal Vij had been arrested under section 304 of the IPC and provisions of Prevention of Corruption Act, last evening. State government has also ordered the registration of FIR against all those responsible for this unfortunate incident.
