A six day Master Class on GST was organsied in New Delhi on Thursday to educate people and clearing their doubts over various provisions of the new tax regime. The programme has been organised by Department of Revenue and Central Board of Excise and Customs. Thursday's topic was Registration and Migration.<br/><br/>Giving presentation on the topic, Revenue Secretary Hasmukh Adhia said the traders whose turnover falls within the threshold limit of 20 lakh rupees need not register under GST. He said, in case such traders engaged in inter- state supply then they will have to get registration. <br/><br/>During one hour session, Mr Adhia and other officials addressed the queries of people. Friday's topic will cover Transition and Invoice making. The first three days of the class will be in Hindi while other three days will be in English covering the same topics from 4.30 to 5.30 PM. All the sessions will be telecast Live on DD National and other channels and it will also be Webcast live on PIB site.
