<br/>In Andhra Pradesh, the situation in curfew-clamped areas in Hyderabad is under control so far amidst heavy deployment of security forces. City Police Commissioner A K Khan said tension prevailed in the trouble-torn areas but no fresh incidents of violence reported since Tuesday last evening. He said curfew would be continued for some time as a precautionary measure. <br/><br/>Security forces have been heavily deployed in all other sensitive areas in the city. About 20 senior IPS officials have been camping in the old city to monitor the law and order situation. Police have set up Check posts at all entry points into the old city to monitor the public movements. Meanwhile, Chief Minister K Rosaiah has directed the authorities to take all measures to supply essential commodities in the curfew-clamped areas. <br/><br/>After a review meeting, Home Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy appealed to people and political parties to cooperate for restoring peace in the affected areas.<br/>
