In Madhya Pradesh, situation is now under control in the curfew bound small town Bareli of Raisen district. Curfew was relaxed for two hours this morning. Police have arrested 42 persons in connection with yesterday’s violent incidents. A Bandh is being observed in Devri and Udaipura towns of Raisen district today in protest against yesterday’s incident in Bareli .A Government spokesperson said in Bhopal that strict action would be taken against those who were responsible for violence in Bareli . Indefinite curfew was clamped in Bareli yesterday after a violent protest of farmers.Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has ordered a high level inquiry into the incident by the senior IAS officer Indraneel Shankar Dani. He has also announced an exgratia of two lakh rupees to the family of the deceased.
