In Himachal Pradesh, the situation is tense but under control after clashes between two groups in Poanta sahib town of sirmour district. Till now three people have been stabbed to death and several others injured in the riots triggered in the area last night on the occasion of the ongoing festival of holla mohalla. According to the reports several slum dwellings have been burnt and the police resorted to cane-charge to bring the situation under control. Police said, all efforts are being made to maintain peace in the area and a strict vigil is on.
