In the Kashmir valley, situation remained by and large peaceful today even though curfew remained imposed in Srinagar and many other towns of the valley. The curfew was relaxed in phases in the afternoon. Barring Pulwama where due to stone pelting the curfew was reimposed immediately after the relaxation was announced. In other areas, the situation during the relaxation period remained peaceful.
