Situation peaceful & under control on 4th day of curfew in H’bad

Curfew to be relaxed in Hyderabad on Saturday<br/><br/>In Andhra Pradesh, curfew will be relaxed in 25 police station areas in old city of Hyderabad tomorrow in two phases. The police have decided to relax curfew for few hours tomorrow as the situation continued to be peaceful and under control today on the fourth day. <br/><br/>Curfew will be relaxed in 8 police station areas for two hours from 8 AM onwards while it will be relaxed in remaining 17 police station areas for three hours from 10 Am onwards. City Police Commissioner A K Khan told reporters that no incident of fresh violence reported from the trouble-torn areas in the last two days. <br/><br/>Amidst elaborate security arrangements, Friday prayers passed off peacefully in the curfew-clamped areas of old city. Many a devout offered prayers in their houses following issuance of fatwa to this effect by religious leaders.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, the deployment of central security forces in the trouble-torn areas is continuing. As many as 109 cases were registered in connection with the clashes between two groups and over 200 people were picked up for questioning.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, 10th class board examination scheduled tomorrow has been postponed in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad as the curfew is continuing in 25 police station areas in the city.
