The situation in the Kashmir valley is relatively calm today. The authorities have lifted curfew from Srinagar and other towns. In Srinagar city, most of the shops and business establishment are open and public transport is plying. However, there were some incidents of protests and stone pelting in Baramulla and Pattan.
