Situation in Kashmir valley peaceful; interlocutors meet PDP leader

The situation in the Kashmir valley is peaceful as shops and establishments in Srinagar and other towns are open on Sunday. Authorities had lifted curfew on Saturday from all the towns. Meanwhile, group of the three interlocutors appointed by the Centre is in Srinagar to hold talks with various sections of the people. The head of the group, senior journalist Dilip Padgaonkar told media that the visit of the group to the valley is not an event but a process, which will continue. He said that they will be meeting the student community for one whole day to ascertain their views about the prevailing situation and the future prospects. On Saturday, they had a meeting with the PDP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Muzaffar Hussain Baig in Srinagar
