In Assam, the situation in Dhubri district has improved. Curfew has been relaxed for 12 hours from 5 am this morning. A strict vigil is being maintained by Army and Central Para-military forces. Official sources said, some security pickets have been set up at Dhubri town area. Large number of people came out to purchase essential items. Administration urged people not to heed to any rumours. Curfew was imposed on Thursday at Dhubri Police Station area after tussle broke out during the immersion of Durga idol.
