The situation in Andhra Pradesh remained peaceful after the verdict of Allahabad high court on Rama Janma Bhoomi – Babri Masjid issue this evening. There was no report of any untoward incident in the state. Shops and business establishments were by and large remained open. However private schools and colleges were closed in the afternoon. Tight security arrangements have been made in sensitive areas of Hyderabad.Chief Minister K Rosaiah appealed to the people to maintain peace and communal Harmony. Leaders cutting across party lines appealed to the people to maintain peace and calm in the state.
