Situation arising due to demonetisation will be normalised soon: Tomar

Union Rural Development Minister Narendra Singh Tomar has expressed hope that the situation arising due to demonetisation will be normalised in two-three days. Talking to media in Anooppur of Madhya Pradesh today, he said, the decision to stop the circulation of 500 and 1000 notes was very difficult. <br/><br/>Mr. Tomar said, the black money and counterfeit notes are a hurdle in the development of the country. He said, only those people will be affected by this decision who have black money. Mr. Tomar said that this step of government is unprecedented. <br/><br/>The minister said, one lakh fourteen thousand villages have been freed from open defecation. He said, the government has fixed a target to make five lakh villages free from open defecation. He said, three states and 61 districts are totally free from open defecation.
