<span style="color: #222222;">Communist Party of India (Marxist) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury arrived in Srinagar to meet his party colleague &amp; former legislator M Y Tarigami.Airport officials confirmed that Yechury arrived at Srinagar airport and was allowed to move outside.&nbsp;<br />''</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Supreme Court yesterday allowed him to visit Srinagar to meet Tarigami after he filed a writ petition under Article 32 of the Constitution, in the Apex Court seeking permission to visit Tarigami, who is reportedly "ill" while being under detention at his residence since August 5 following scrapping of special status of Jammu &amp; Kashmir and its bifurcation through J&amp;K Reorganization Bill passed in the Parliament.&nbsp;<br />''</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">A bench headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi directed Yechury to only meet Tarigami and not use the visit for any political purpose. Yechury had said that after meeting Tarigami, he will report back to the Court and make a more detailed statement.<br />''</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Few days ago, he had to return from Srinagar Airport on the orders of J&amp;K administration citing security reasons for denying him entry into Kashmir alongwith other political leaders.</span><br />
