In Andhra Pradesh, a Special Investigation Team will investigate yesterday’s firing at police in the old city of Hyderabad. <br/><br/>City Police Commissioner A K khan told reporters that the case would be handed over to SIT and probe would be immediately begun. It was known that a constable of Andhra Pradesh Special Police was killed and two others injured in the incident. <br/><br/>A red alert was sounded in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad and massive checking operations are being held in and around the city. Armed pickets are being set up at all strategic points in the old city.<br/>
