The armies of India and China have expressed mutual desire of maintaining and improving relations at the functional level along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Ladakh. <br/><br/>A spokesman of Army's Northern Command said in Jammu that the Indian Army and the People's Liberation Army (PLA ) held a ceremonial Border Personnel Meeting (BPM) on the Indian side at Chushul and Daulat Beg Oldie in the Eastern Ladakh. The Indian delegations were led by Brigadier RS Raman and Brigadier Vijayant Yadav whereas the Chinese delegations were led by senior colonel Fan Jun and colonel Huang Xiua Hu.<br/><br/>The spokesman said, both delegations expressed mutual desire of maintaining and further improving relations at functional level along the LAC and interacted in a friendly and cordial environment. The delegations parted amidst bonds of friendship and commitment towards enhancing the existing cordial relations and maintaining peace along the LAC, he said.
