In Jammu and Kashmir, the Single Star Trespone team won Kargil Archery Tournament beating Titi Chumeek at Khree Sultan Choo Stadium in Kargil today. 72 teams of Traditional Archery participated in the tournament. Mohammad Ali of Single Star Trespone was adjudged man of the Match and Abass Jan of City G M Pore was adjudged as the Man of the Series. The Tournament was organized by Ladakh Archery Development Association Kargil, in which 92 teams participated from all over the District.Speaking on the occasion the Acting Chief Executive Councilor of LAHDC, Kargil, Haji Ghulam Amir Kamran LAHDC Kargil said that the LAHDC has started work on the International Ice Skating Rink at Kurbathang, Ice Skating Rink and Polo Promotion Development Infrastructure at Drass, Pavilion at Khree Sultan Choo Stadium, Snow Ski Slops in Drass and Kargil for promotion of sports in the area.
