Congress leader and Rajya Sabha Member Abhishek Manu Singhvi has stepped down from the post of the Chairman of Parliamenatary Standing Committee on Law, Justice, Personnel and Grievances. In a statement issued to the media, Mr. Singhvi said, he has decided to resign to prevent even the slightest possible Parliamentary disruption regarding the purported CDs being circulated about him
