The ruling Janata Dal (United) candidates Ram Chandra Prasad Singh and Upendra Kushwaha today filed their nominations for the biennial Rajya Sabha polls. The two leaders submitted their nomination papers to the Vidhan Sabha Secretary Surendra Sharma, also the Returning Officer for the RS polls, in his office in Patna. Mr Singh and Mr Kushwaha were accompanied by senior JD(U) leaders for filing of nomination. Altogether five candidates have filed their nomination for as many RS seats from Bihar going to polls on 17th of June. The last date for nomination is 10th of June.
