Singapore Open: PV Sindhu, K Srikanth, Sai Praneeth and mixed doubles pair to play their quarter-final <br/>

In the Singapore Open super-series badminton tournament, Indian shuttlers P.V Sindhu, K Srikanth, B Sai Praneeth and a mixed doubles pair will play their quarter-final matches today. In the Women&apos;s Singles event, Rio Olympic Silver medalist Sindhu will battle it out in the last-8 stage against Rio Olympic Gold medalist Carolina Marin of Spain. 5th seeded Sindhu has recently triumphed over 4th seed Carolina in the Final of India Open and bettered her head to head record (4 to 5) against her. In the Men&apos;s Singles event, unseeded Srikanth will be facing 5th seed Shi Yuqi of China while compatriot Sai Praneeth will take on 8th seeded Tanongsak Saensomboonsuk of Thailand in the quarterfinals today. And in the mixed doubles event, pair of Ashwini Ponappa and Sumeeth Reddy will take on a strong and 3rd seeded Chinese duo of Lu Kai and Chnuang Yaqiong in the quarter-finals. Yesterday, top Indian shuttlers P.V.Sindhu , B. Sai Praneeth, Kidambi Srikanth and the pair of Ashwini Ponnappa and B. Sumeeth Reddy entered the Quarter Finals of the tournament.
