Sindhu to lead India at Super Series Badminton in Tokyo<br/>

P V Sindhu will spearhead the Indian challenge at the two lakh US Dollar Super Series Badminton tournament, starting in Tokyo on Tuesday in the absence of senior shuttlers Saina Nehwal and Parupalli Kashyap. While Saina decided to give a miss to the tournament after hectic Indian Badminton League, Kashyap will skip the Japan Open due to an ankle injury. World No 10 Sindhu, who will be playing in her first international tournament after winning the prestigious bronze medal at the World Championship in China will take on two qualifiers in the first two rounds and is likely to make it to the last eight stage without much difficulty. In the quarterfinals, the 18-year-old from Hyderabad, would in all probability, face World No.1 and Olympic champion Li Xuerui of China. In women&apos;s singles, Tanvi Lad, will give company to Sindhu. The Mumbai girl who is ranked No.77 in the world, will take on Japanese World No.20, Sayaka Takahashi in her opening round.
