PV Sindhu today stormed into the quarterfinals of the Indonesian Open Masters Grand Prix Gold Badminton tournament at Malang in East Java. Top seed Sindhu, who won the Macau Open for the third consecutive time last week, defeated Indonesia's Wulan Sukoputri, in straight games, 21-12, 21-9.In the Men's section, top seed K. Srikanth and RMV Gurusaidutt progressed to the pre-quarterfinals. While Srikanth defeated Indonesian Vicky Saputra, Gurusaidutt beat Singapore's Kean Loh. Both were 3-game matches. Their pre-quarterfinal matches will be played later today. HS Prannoy, however, made an exit after he lost to Shi Yuqi of China.
