Two-time defending champion and fifth seed Sindhu will take on Lindaweni Fanetri of Indonesia, while in the Men's section, HS Prannoy will clash with China's Qiao Bin, and B. Sai Praneeth will meet Indonesia's Andre Tedjono. Sindhu, HS Prannoy and Sai Praneeth are the only Indians left in the tournament. Saina Nehwal is not taking in this competition, while top seed Kidambi Srikanth had bowed out in the opening round.
