In the title clash in the Siri Fort Indoor Stadiumin, New Delhi today she defeated two-time World Champion Carolina Marin of Spain in straight sets 21-19, 21 -16. Earlier, Sindhu beat second seeded World No. 4 Korean Sung Ji Hyun 21-18, 14-21, 21-14 in the semifinals . Marin defeated fourth seeded Japan's Akane Yamaguchi 21-16 21-14.
