Shuttler PV Sindhu has advanced to the quarter-finals of the Malaysia Open Super Series Premier Badminton tournament. In the second round match today, she defeated seventh placed Ji Hyun Sung of Korea in straight games, 22-20, 21-17. Third seed Saina Nehwal will also play her second round match today. She will take on Yeon Ju Bae, also of Korea. Saina and Sindhu are the only Indian shuttlers left in the tournament.
