<span style="color: #222222;">The Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM)-led Government in the state completes one year today. Exactly a year ago, the SKM Government had come to power, replacing the previous regime of 25 years. Governor Ganga Prasad has greeted Chief Minister P S Tamang on the occasion. A function to mark the occasion was organized at Samman Bhawan in Gangtok today.<br />''<br />''The function, which was graced by Mr Tamang as the chief guest, was also attended by his Cabinet colleagues, MLAs and Lok Sabha MP Indra Hang Subba.<br />''<br />''The Chief Minister remembered everyone instrumental in bringing SKM to power and thanked all including BJP MLAs.<br />''He urged the Ministers, MLAs and party cadres to work tirelessly and serve people of Sikkim with care, concern and compassion. He urged them to fulfil promises made to people.<br />''<br />''Mr Tamang thanked people for their mandate, preferring change and new possibilities separately through a social media message. He said, the SKM Government is people and youth-centric and would continue to do its best for them.He further said, Sikkim had been very successful in keeping COVID-19 at bay for a long period and reassured people that they need not panic. He added that the state is prepared to tackle the situation and appealed to people to stay calm and be empathetic to returnees. He also thanked frontline warriors for their role in keeping Sikkim safe.</span><br />
