Sikkim is set to become the first ever organic tourism destination of not only in the country but in the entire world within next three years. This was announced by the Chief Minister Pawan Chamling while inaugurating the 6th Namchi Mahotsav at Bhaichung Stadium at Namchi South Sikkim district on Thursday. He said that the state will be made an ideal destination for all the health conscious tourists .Mr Chamling said that such tourists may then be enjoying fully organic food including the organic vegetables and fruits. The Chief Minister said that such festivals are meant to combine Sikkim’s rich cultural heritage, traditional life style and ethnic cuisine with tourism.
