Sikkim reported five new COVID19 cases today, director general of state health department Dr Pempa Tshering Bhutia has informed in a health bulletin.<br />'' <br />''This takes the number of active cases in the state to 63. Of the five new cases, two are from the East District and three are from the West District. These include a 33 year old female returnee of Bihar, who was undergoing quarantine in a facility at Paljor Namgyal Girls Senior Secondary School and is asymptomatic. She has been shifted to New STNM hospital, Sochyakgang near Gangtok.<br />'' <br />''Another infected person is a 32 year old male returnee from Siliguri, West Bengal and was undergoing quarantine in a facility at Rangpo. The remaining three are two 32 year old males and a 31 year old female, all of whom shared a bus with other people sent to a quarantine centre at SC Bhawan, Tashiding, West Sikkim, which currently has 18 people. The other people in the centre have tested negative. This centre has been declared a containment zone and the three infected people have been shifted to New STNM Hospital. <br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Test results for 12 bus drivers who transported infected people including previous cases are awaited. The health department is collecting samples of all health, police and other officials engaged with returnees for tests. Dr Bhutia said that the health department is efficient, patients are recovering and there is no need to panic.</span><br />
