Sikkim Legislative Assembly passes Vote on Account for Financial Year 2024-25

<span style="color: black;">The second day of the Seventh Session (Part IV) of Tenth Assembly of the Sikkim Legislative Assembly (SLA) on Saturday  (2<sup>nd</sup> March 2024) saw the passing of Vote on Account for the Financial Year 2024-25, which was moved by Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang, also the Minister-in-Charge, Finance Department on Friday( 01st March 2024).<br />''<br />''The SLA passed the Vote on Account for a sum of Rs 607325.52 lakh, comprising of Rs 480290.35 lakh on Revenue Account and Rs 127035.17 lakh on Capital Account, to meet the State Government's expenditure for six months starting April to September 2024.<br />''During the Legislative Business, the House also passed two University Bills.<br />'' <br />''In his valedictory remarks, Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang, acknowledged the constructive debates, discussions and deliberations that took place and stressed the importance of collaborative efforts in addressing various challenges faced by the state.<br />'' <br />''He reiterated the government's unwavering commitment to serving the people of Sikkim with integrity, transparency, and accountability. He urged all Members of the House to continue working tirelessly for the betterment of the state and the citizens.</span><br />
