Sikkim Govt. plans to set up Ramayana village in state

With a view to add a yet another attraction for the tourists, the Sikkim Government plans to set up a Ramayana village in the State where the entire story of this great epic will almost become live in the form of statues and other related structures.

There will be seven separate wards under the village, each depicting a particular ‘Kaanda ‘, out of the seven Kaandas of Ramayana.

AIR correspondent says that this will be a great attraction for the religious and Ramayana- loving people from not only the country but from abroad as well.
