<span style="color: #222222;">The Sikkim government today notified new measures to contain COVID19. All shops accept medical, ration and vegetable vendors in market areas will remain closed on Saturdays and Sundays till 30th April. During this period, their normal weekly scheduled closure will remain suspended. For tourists carrying RT-PCR test reports older than 72 hours, rapid antigen test facilities will be set up at Rangpo and Meli borders, for which separate standard operating procedures will be issued by the state health department regarding procedure, location and date of operation of these facilities. Moreover, from 17th April, the number of persons at social, political and religious gatherings has been restricted to 50 at a time with prior permission from the district administration. All such gatherings must follow COVID19 protocols including mask wearing, social distancing and hand-sanitising.</span><br />''  <br />
