<span style="color: #222222;">Sikkim Government has issued new guidelines for Lockdown 4.0 following directives of the Union Ministry of Home Affairs. The new guidelines will be applicable till 31st of May with many relaxations in Sikkim, which is yet to report a COVID-19 case. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">All educational, training, coaching institutes; hospitality services excepts food outlets and restaurants, cinema halls, shopping malls and complexes, gymnasiums, sports complexes, swimming pools, entertainment parts, theatres, bars and auditoriums; religious places and all socio-political and other gatherings have not been allowed or will remain closed during the fourth phase of the lockdown. Congregation of not more than 20 people is allowed for funerals.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">All taxis, private, government and two-wheeler vehicles are allowed to ply within the state without permission of the district authority on an odd-even formula and following social distancing and other norms. Two-wheelers are only allowed to ply with a single rider. Sikkim Nationalized Transportation (SNT) buses are also allowed to operate following social distancing norms.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">All licensed stand-alone shops, except those inside shopping complexes, are allowed to open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with 50 per cent staff while restaurants, fast food shops, bakeries and sweet shops are also allowed for home delivery, pickup and take away.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Inter-state movement is only allowed to bring back stranded Sikkimese people. Government offices will start functioning with 30% staff strength. Movement of people or vehicles from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m. is strictly prohibited and people violating norms will be penalized.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Following Central directives, provisions such as wearing face masks compulsorily in public places, not spitting in public places, maintaining social distance, not more than five customers at a time in shops have been mandated.</span><br />''
