The Sikkim Government today extended its full support to the proposed Lokpal Bill pending before the Parliament. Speaking in the State Legislative Assembly in Gangtok on the concluding day of the four-day long sitting of the House, the Chief Minister, Mr. Pawan Chamling said that his government will enforce the provisions with regard to Lokayuktas in the States as soon as the Parliament passes the bill. The State Legislative Assembly passed the first supplementary demands for grants of more than 500 crore rupees for the current fiscal year unanimously.
