In Sikkim, an earthquake of low intensity rocked the State last evening. Our Gangtok correspondent, quoting Met Office sources, reports that the tremors measuring 3.5 on the Richter scale, were felt at 06.34 pm and lasted for about fifty seconds.The epicentre was located in the East district, some 30 kilometres from Gangtok. No loss of life or property was reported from any part of the State.
