Sikkim Day was celebrated in Pudducherry also in the spirit of Ek Bharat Shreshth Bharat. Lt Governor of Puducherry  Dr.Tamilisai Soundararajan said, Ek Bharath and Shreshtha Bharat is the manthra of the country while Unity in diversity is breath of life. He said, even though we are separated by land, language, culture, food and behaviour we are still children of India. Celebrating other statehood days would definitely strengthen the feeling of oneness. She was speaking at a function on the Sikkim Statehood Day on Tuesday at Rajnivas.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The Lt. Governor said, Sikkim is known for spirituality and Puducherry is a holy land. So Sikkim people would be more comfortable in living here without much difference. The celebrations ended with Sikkim-specific cuisine.</span><br />
