<span style="color: #222222;">Sikkim continued to report a record daily spike in COVID19 cases with 420 new cases today, after reporting 408 cases yesterday.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The state's case tally has now reached 14,634 with 3,794 active cases and 10,385 recoveries.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">A total of 1,422 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. Three new COVID-19 fatalities were also recorded, taking the death toll to 243 in Sikkim. The state is under a complete lockdown since 17th May, which is effective till 31st May. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR Correspondent reports, of the 420 new COVID19 infections reported on Friday, East Sikkim reported 235, taking the district's total cases to 10,170. South Sikkim reported 136 new cases with a total of 2,573 cases while West Sikkim reported 47 new cases with a total of 1,427 cases. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">North Sikkim recorded two new cases and the district has reported 252 cases so far. New 227 recoveries were also recorded in the last 24 hours. So far, the state has recorded 6,681 COVID19 cases and 96 fatalities this month.
