<span style="color: #222222;">Sikkim Chief Minister Shri Prem Singh Tamang flagged off Amrit Mitti Kalash Yatra under the 'Meri Maati Mera Desh' campaign, at Samman Bhawan in Gangtok on Wednesday. The programme was organised by the Rural Development Department (RDD), Government of Sikkim. The Chief Minister flagged off NSS volunteers from various parts of Sikkim carrying 34 Kalash (earthen pot) filled with Mitti (soil) collected from 33 blocks and one urban local body to New Delhi. They will further participate in the national-level culmination program of the campaign, where Mitti collected from across the nation will be installed in a symbolic Amrit Vatika later this month.<br />''<br />''Extending his best wishes to the participating students, the Chief Minister encouraged them to make the most of this enriching experience in the national capital.
