Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang chaired a high-level meeting on Monday at Tashiling Secretariat to discuss road connectivity from Chungthang to Lachen in the wake of recent flash floods. The meeting was attended by senior officers from the state government and Border Roads Organization (BRO).<br />'' <br />''Chief Engineer, Project Swastik, BRO, Brig. Manoj Gupta made a brief presentation on the status of ongoing restoration work being carried out by the BRO in coordination with the Army and civil administration to connect the axis from Mangan to Chungthang, through Sangkalang, as well as the alternate route from Naga-Toong.
