The Gurudwara Kartarpur sahib constructed in the sacred memory of First sikh Guru Nanak Dev Ji and the Gurudwara was left behind in the Pakistan during the Indo- Pak partition in 1947 which is just 3 Kms from the border town of Dera Baba Nanak in district Gurdaspur. Guru Nanak Dev Ji used to cultivated the agriculture land , and he spent 17 years of his life and he died at Kartarpur where this Gurudwara was constructed. <br/><br/><br/>The Border security Force had constructed a Darshan sathal on Indo- Pak border to provide facility for the devotees to see the Gurudwara in Pakistan on its own cost besides a canteen for the pilgrims who come from the different parts of the country and abroad every day. <br/>
