Shipping minister Nitin Gadkari today said that govt is making significant investment in shipping and port sector, under the flagship sagarmala project, for modernization and capacity building. <br/><br/>Addressing national shipping board meeting in New Delhi the Minister said centre is working towards enhancing road, rail and port network in order to implement port-led development. <br/><br/>The minister asked the officials to grant approvals to private companies imparting skill development training and draw up a scheme to provide stipend to trainees.
