Mr. Siddaramaiah was today sworn-in as a new Chief Minister of Karnataka. The Governor, Mr. H.R.Bhardwaj administered the oath of office and secrecay at a function in Bangalore .

Siddaramaiah of the Congress replaces Jagdish Shettar of the BJP. Congress swept the polls in the recently held Assembly elections in Karnataka.
