The Union Minister for Human Resource Development, Mr. Kapil Sibal on Wednesday appealed to the striking teachers of Delhi University to go back to work so that interests of the students do not suffer. The Delhi University Teacher Association is on a stike from Monday against the newly introduced semester system. Talking to reporters in New Delhi, Mr Sibal said that the notification for appointment of the new Vice Chancellor will be issued soon, who will take up the issues with teachers.
