Union Minister for Human Resource and Development Kapil Sibal will leave for Washington tonight to attend the First Indo-U.S. Higher Education Summit. The summit will be held from 13 th of this month.

Our correspondent reports the objective of the summit is to further strengthen the collaboration in higher education and exchange between the two countries. It will also focus on exploration of topics of mutual interest including joint degrees, research partnerships, accreditation and quality assurance. The Summit has been jointly organized by India and the United States.
