The Malappuram Special Centre of Aligarh Muslim University will be dedicated to the nation. Union Minister for Human Resource Development Mr. Kapil Sibal will start the special centre at the developing Chelamala campus near Perinthalmanna in Malappuram district in Kerala.The Central government had allocated 75 crore rupees for the campus in the initial phase. A Women's college and a Women's polytechnic would begin functioning on the campus in the first phase.
