Sibal accuses BJP of stalling Parliament & not debating Taelecom scam in the House

Senior Congress leader Kapil Sibal has said that BJP is not interested in vindication of law on Telecom imbroglio. Talking to newsmen on the sidelines of a Telecom function in New Delhi this morning, Mr. Sibal said that the BJP does not want a debate in Parliament to sort out the issue but is adamant on obstructing the house. He said that their are several legislative bills waiting to be passed for the welfare of the common man. He informed that the stalemate in the house has caused an expenditure on 70,000 crore rupees without transacting any business. The Minister insisted that this calls for a JPC probe. Regarding Supreme Court's observation that the Telecom contracts right from NDA regime needs to be re-visited, the Minister said he doesn't want to be pressed into this kind of politics but is just interested in the robust growth of telecom sector.
