<span style="color: #222222;">The 9th Convocation of Shri Mata Vaishnodevi University was held today in the Matrika Auditorium of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra, Jammu and Kashmir. Union Minister for Education Dharmendra Pradhan was the chief guest in the Convocation Ceremony while J&K Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha, who is also the Chancellor of SMVD Univesity, presided over the convocation ceremony. During the convocation, 1639 Degrees were awarded to the students of the University for the academic year 2022 and 2023. Besides, 42 medals including Four Chancellor's Gold Medals, 21 Univesity Gold Medals and 10 University Silver Medals were awarded to the students for the year 2022 and 2023. </span><br />
